‘DOJUS agro’ Social Media Privacy Policy

The present Policy applies to all information and data, submitted to or collected by us, while you use the following Facebook and Instagram pages managed by the ‘Dojus agro’, UAB (including the UAB ‘DOJUS agro’ Lithuanian branch) (hereinafter referred to as ‘we’)

We respect your privacy and protect your personal data and information that either you submit or we collect, following the procedure indicated within the present Privacy Policy.  The present Privacy Policy explains why we collect your personal data and how we use it.

Why we collect data?

We use Facebook and Instagram social media in order to draw your attention to our services and products, as well as to communicate with you as the visitors of the aforementioned pages. More information about our activities available at: www.dojusagro.lt.

Operation of the aforementioned social media pages, including the processing of visitor data, is based on our legitimate interest to inform and communicate with our followers and social media page visitors.

 

Data collected by Facebook

In their Decision on 5th June 2018 (link: https://curia.europa.eu/jcms/upload/docs/application/pdf/2018-06/cp180081en.pdf), the European Court of Justice has decided that the Facebook page manager shares the responsibility for the processing of personal data with ‘Facebook’.

‘Facebook’ processes data for the following purposes:

  • advertising (analysis, showing personalized advertisements)
  • creating user profiles
  • market research

Facebook and Instagram use cookies for saving and further processing of the collected information. Cookies are small text files, saved by the user within various end-devices. Data collected by other social media

We may also have other social media network of platform accounts, such as LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. Within such platforms, we may collect personal data, indicated in the present Policy and such data shall be processed in compliance with respective data management requirements of such social media networks or platforms, unless our notice indicates special provisions regarding the processing of data within certain social platform.

Statistical data

The ‘Page insights’ function on Facebook collects statistical data about such pages and their different categories, making such data accessible to us. Such statistics are collected and provided by Facebook. Being the manager of such pages, we cannot affect in any way the generating and provision of such data. We cannot disable this function or prevent data collection and processing.

We can select certain period, in order to obtain Facebook statistics regarding the persons, who clicked the ‘like’ button, subscribers, the reached audience or those who expressed their interest:

  • Total page views, likes, page activity, reactions to posts, accessibility, views of videos, posts, accessibility, comments, promotions, responses, men/women ratio, country, city, language, age, interests, behaviour, used devices, sex, visits and clicks, phone number clicks.

Facebook also provides information about Facebook groups, related with our Facebook and Instagram pages. As Facebook is subject to constant development, the accessibility and processing of data constantly change, therefore we suggest you visit the links indicated above to learn more about Facebook and Instagram privacy policies.

We use such generalized data in order to make our Facebook and Instagram pages more appealing to users. For instance, we use information about age and sex to address our visitors properly. We also use data about the activity in order to publish information at the most suitable time.

Collected data

While carrying out promotions and games, we may contact the persons, who expressed their interest in participating in them. For purposes of determining the winner and transferring the prize, we may collect such data as name, surname, information on the location to receive the prize or other details necessary to identify the person and transfer the prize.

If you have Facebook or Instagram account and like or follow our pages, you may publish your comments or like certain posts. If you comment or like our published content, such information will be visible to us and other social media users. The extent, to which other users can see your details, depends on your individual privacy settings and your activity, that is, how much data you publish yourself.

Transfer of data

We can disclose limited amount of anonymous information to trusted third parties, helping us to analyse the usage models, improve the social page performance and provide useful information to the users.

Security of your information

We regularly update and improve our safety standards, procedures and technologies in order to protect your confidential information from illegal access. As Facebook has full access to your information and data, we recommend contacting Facebook directly if you would like to ask for information or submit your enquiries on user’s rights (e.g. right to get your data deleted). Validity and amendments

The present Privacy Policy is valid from 11 April 2019. Should we amend the present Privacy Policy, the updated version shall published on our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as the dojusagro.lt website. Amendments and/or additions to the Privacy Policy shall enter into force from the moment they are published.
